Once you’ve experienced ‘quiet’ with the Q-Studio, you might consider permanently settling in the area in a Q-Home. This 2 bedroom (expandable to 4 with minimal effort) home has all the features of the Q-Studio, but with more floor space for the retired couple or small family. Indicative of all ‘Q’ accommodations, all rooms have natural light to reduce the need for artificial light. Located 100′ away is the Q-Shed which houses all plumbing filtration, electrical, data, and gas resources. The main house is fed underground from the Q-Shed. Fiber otpics is used for all data. Low voltage is the primary source of energy consmption. Propane is the primary source for heat, although inline electrical backup is available upon demand.
The main area is an open concept kitchen/dining/living area. The room is defined by the see through large propane fireplace with similarly proportioned flat screen TVs above it on both sides. Admittedly, this house was designed for property with both front and back reviews. As you can see here, there are sweeping views out both the front and rear of the house.
Immediately off the main area are the two downstairs bedrooms. This one is configured as an optional office. This, like the other bedroom has a full on-suite bathroom. But unlike the configured closet in the master bedroom, this one has a much larger side room. This is shown below as an extra sleeping room for guests. The adjacent bathroom also serves as a guest bathroom. It has extra storage for bathroom articles.
The master is a mirror image of the office. But unlike the sister bathroom, this one’s bathroom has a comfortable shower with a seamless basin and two vanities. The walk-in closet is sized to easily accommodate a dresser as well as hanging wardrobe.
A full laundry is situated off the garage to create separation of the electrical components from the main living area. Conveniently it has a laundry sink for those outdoor activity cleanups.
